Some green tips

I just commented on a Babycenter Going Green article. Here are some of my trips on how we plan to raiser a healthy baby.

Remove chemical cleaners and replace them with non toxic versions. Many ingredients in cleaners are know cancer causers and contribute to health problems such as asthma and allergies.  Baking soda and vinegar are both cleaning agents and non toxic!

Turn the TV off. Flat screen TV's are one of the most energy consuming appliances in a home today. Take your kids outside to run around.

Switch to cloth diapers. Consumer Reports estimates you'll spend $1500-2000 for disposable diapers before your child is potty trained. You can spend as little as $300 over 2.5 years, that includes washing and drying expenses on cloth diapers.
